Artist Statement
In my recent work I attempt to highlight the ways in which photography historically and contemporaneously influence how exhibitions, objects and memories are experienced and cataloged.  Through methods of reference, deconstruction and repetition I seek to re-evaluate how meaning is created inside and outside the exhibition context; giving equal weight to the show announcement, documentation and artworks.
